19914 - وَأَنْبَأَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ إِجَازَةً، أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْقَارِي، ثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْوُحَاظِيُّ، فَذَكَرَهُ بِإِسْنَادِهِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ:

" مَنِ اسْتَلَجَّ فِي أَهْلِهِ بِيَمِينِهِ، فَهُوَ أَعْظَمُ إِثْمًا ".

    فقلت لأبي أيهما أصح فقال لا أعلم أحدا وصله غير معاوية بن سلام ومعمر أشهر وأحب إلي من معاوية بن سلام

    machine translationI said to my father, "Which of the two is more correct?" He said, "I do not know anyone who connected it (waṣalahu) other than Muʿāwiyah b. Sallām, and Maʿmar is better known and dearer to me than Muʿāwiyah b. Sallām."
