al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Bayhaqi) 19248

✧ The saying of the one sacrificing: 'O Allah, from You and to You, so accept from me,' and the saying of the one sacrificing on behalf of another: 'O Allah, accept from so-and-so'

( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ الْقَطْرِيُّ، ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، عَنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ ؓ قَالَ:

شَهِدْتُ أَضْحَى مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بِالْمُصَلَّى، فَلَمَّا قَضَى خُطْبَتَهُ وَنَزَلَ عَنْ مِنْبَرِهِ أُتِيَ بِكَبْشِهِ فَذَبَحَهُ، وَقَالَ: بِسْمِ اللهِ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ، هَذَا عَنِّي وَعَمَّنْ لَمْ يُضَحِّ مِنْ أُمَّتِي
