وَبِمَا ( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، ثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُمَيْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عُمُومَةٌ لِي مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالُوا:

اهْتَمَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ وَقَالَ فِيهِ: وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ زَيْدٍ مَرِيضًا يَوْمَئِذٍ، وَالْأَنْصَارُ تَزْعُمُ أَنَّهُ لَوْ لَمْ يَكُنْ مَرِيضًا لَجَعَلَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مُؤَذِّنًا
