machine translationHishām b. Saʿd narrates it from al-Zuhrī, from ʿUrwah, from al-Miswar, from the Prophet ﷺ. But Yūnus, Maʿmar, Mūsā b. ʿUqbah and Ṣāliḥ b. Kaysān contradicted him: they narrated it from al-Zuhrī, from ʿUrwah, from al-Miswar, from ʿAmr b. ʿAwf, an ally of the Banū ʿĀmir b. Luʾayy who witnessed Badr with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and this is the sound (ṣaḥīḥ) version.
