أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا: ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ( ح ) وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ دَاوُدَ الرَّزَّازُ بِبَغْدَادَ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو سَهْلِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الْقَطَّانُ قَالَا: ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ، ثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ ؓ قَالَ:
بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ سَرِيَّةً إِلَى خَثْعَمَ، فَاعْتَصَمَ نَاسٌ مِنْهُمْ بِالسُّجُودِ، وَأَسْرَعَ فِيهِمُ الْقَتْلَ، فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَأَمَرَ لَهُمْ بِنِصْفِ الْعَقْلِ، وَقَالَ: أَنَا بَرِيءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ مُقِيمٍ بَيْنَ أَظْهُرِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ، قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَلِمَ ؟ قَالَ: " لَا تَرَايَا نَارَاهُمَا
