قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنَا ) يَحْيَى، ثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَعْقِلٍ قَالَ:
لَيْسَ لِأَهْلِ السَّوَادِ عَهْدٌ إِلَّا أَرْضَ الْحِيرَةِ، وَأُلَّيْسَ، وَبَانِقْيَا. قَالَ شَرِيكٌ: إِنَّ أَهْلَ بَانِقْيَا كَانُوا دَلُّوا جَرِيرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَلَى مَخَاضَةٍ، وَأَهْلُ أُلَّيْسَ كَانُوا أَنْزَلُوا أَبَا عُبَيْدَةَ وَدَلُّوهُ عَلَى شَيْءٍ. قَالَ يَحْيَى: أَظُنُّهُ يَعْنِي غَدْرَهُ لِلْعَدُوِّ
