أَخْبَرَنَا ) الْإِمَامُ أَبُو الْفَتْحِ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ أَبِي شُرَيْحٍ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ الْبَغَوِيُّ، ثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ رُشَيْدٍ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ، ثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ - ﷺ:

" ادْرَءُوا الْحُدُودَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ، فَإِنْ وَجَدْتُمْ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ مَخْرَجًا فَخَلُّوا سَبِيلَهُ، فَإِنَّ الْإِمَامَ أَنْ يُخْطِئَ فِي الْعَفْوِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَنْ يُخْطِئَ فِي الْعُقُوبَةِ
