وَحَدَّثَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ، أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، قَالَ:
كَانَ عُمَرُ ؓ يُصَابُ بِالْمُصِيبَةِ فَيَقُولُ: أُصِيبَ زَيْدُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ فَصَبَرْتُ، وَأَبْصَرَ قَاتِلَ أَخِيهِ زَيْدٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ: وَيْحَكَ ! لَقَدْ قَتَلْتَ لِي أَخًا مَا هَبَّتِ الصَّبَا إِلَّا ذَكَرْتُهُ
