أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ، ثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي الَّذِي أَرْضَعَنِي وَكَانَ أَحَدَ بَنِي مُرَّةَ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، قَالَ:

وَاللهِ لَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ يَوْمَ مُؤْتَةَ حِينَ اقْتَحَمَ عَنْ فَرَسٍ لَهُ شَقْرَاءَ فَعَقَرَهَا، ثُمَّ تَقَدَّمَ فَقَاتَلَ حَتَّى قُتِلَ
