أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو نَصْرِ بْنُ قَتَادَةَ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ بْنُ خَمِيرَوَيْهِ، أَنْبَأَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ، ثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ، ثَنَا أَسِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ مُقْبِلِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ هَانِئِ بْنِ كُلْثُومٍ:

أَنَّ صَاحِبَ جَيْشِ الشَّامِ حِينَ فُتِحَتِ الشَّامُ كَتَبَ إِلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ: إِنَّا فَتَحْنَا أَرْضًا كَثِيرَةَ الطَّعَامِ وَالْعَلَفِ، فَكَرِهْتُ أَنْ أَتَقَدَّمَ فِي شَيْءٍ مِنْ ذَلِكَ إِلَّا بِأَمْرِكَ، فَاكْتُبْ إِلَيَّ بِأَمْرِكَ فِي ذَلِكَ، فَكَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ عُمَرُ ؓ أَنْ دَعِ النَّاسَ يَأْكُلُونَ وَيَعْلِفُونَ؛ فَمَنْ بَاعَ شَيْئًا بِذَهَبٍ أَوْ فِضَّةٍ فَفِيهِ خُمُسُ اللهِ وَسِهَامُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
