أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذَ الْعَدْلُ، ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْقَاضِي، ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ:

خَرَجَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ، فَسَمِعَ امْرَأَةً تَقُولُ: تَطَاوَلَ هَذَا اللَّيْلُ وَاسْوَدَّ جَانِبُهْ وَأَرَّقَنِي أَنْ لَا حَبِيبَ أُلَاعِبُهْ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ لِحَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ عُمَرَ ؓ: كَمْ أَكْثَرُ مَا تَصْبِرُ الْمَرْأَةُ عَنْ زَوْجِهَا ؟ فَقَالَتْ: سِتَّةَ أَوْ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ ؓ: لَا أَحْبِسُ الْجَيْشَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ هَذَا
