( أَخْبَرَنَاهُ ) أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْفَهَانِيُّ، أَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ، ثَنَا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ:
خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى أَصْحَابِهِ وَهُمْ يَنْتَظِرُونَ الْعِشَاءَ فَقَالَ: " صَلَّوْا وَرَقَدُوا، وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْتَظِرُونَهَا، أَمَا إِنَّكُمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ مَا انْتَظَرْتُمُوهَا، وَلَوْلَا ضَعْفُ الضَّعِيفِ وَكِبَرُ الْكَبِيرِ لَأَخَّرْتُ هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةَ إِلَى شَطْرِ اللَّيْلِ
