أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَمْرٍو: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَدِيبُ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْإِسْمَاعِيلِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنِي مَحْمُودٌ الْوَاسِطِيُّ لَفْظَهُ، وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، قَالَا: ثَنَا وَهْبٌ، أَنْبَأَ خَالِدٌ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ؓ، قَالَتْ:
قُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ نَرَى الْجِهَادَ أَفْضَلَ الْعَمَلِ، أَفَلَا نُجَاهِدُ مَعَكَ ؟ قَالَ: " لَا، وَلَكِنَّ أَفْضَلَ الْجِهَادِ حَجٌّ مَبْرُورٌ
