( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو عُثْمَانَ الْبَصْرِيُّ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، أَنْبَأَ يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى قَالَ
حِينَ رَجَمَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ شُرَاحَةَ، قُلْتُ: مَاتَتْ عَلَى شَرِّ أَحْيَانِهَا. قَالَ: فَأَخَذَ بِثَوْبِي ثُمَّ قَالَ: إِنَّهُ مَنْ أَتَى شَيْئًا مِنْ حَدٍّ فَأُقِيمَ عَلَيْهِ الْحَدُّ فَهُوَ كَفَّارَتُهُ
