( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا: ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، ثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِي، ثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُلَيٍّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُولُ:
إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلَ الرَّحْمَنِ أُمِرَ أَنْ يَخْتَتِنَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَمَانِينَ سَنَةً، فَعَجِلَ فَاخْتَتَنَ بِقَدُومٍ فَاشْتَدَّ عَلَيْهِ الْوَجَعُ فَدَعَا رَبَّهُ، فَأَوْحَى اللهُ إِلَيْهِ أَنَّكَ عَجِلْتَ قَبْلَ أَنْ نَأْمُرَكَ بِالْآلَةِ. قَالَ: يَا رَبِّ، كَرِهْتُ أَنْ أُؤَخِّرَ أَمْرَكَ. قَالَ: وَخُتِنَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً، وَخُتِنَ إِسْحَاقُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ، وَهُوَ ابْنُ سَبْعَةِ أَيَّامٍ
