أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ السُّكَّرِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الشَّافِعِيُّ، ثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْأَزْهَرِ، ثَنَا الْمُفَضَّلُ بْنُ غَسَّانَ الْغَلَّابِيُّ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا زَكَرِيَّا، عَنْ حَدِيثٍ حَدَّثَنَا بِهِ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ قَالَ:

كَانَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ امْرَأَةٌ يُقَالُ لَهَا: أُمُّ عَطِيَّةَ تَخْفِضُ الْجَوَارِيَ، فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: يَا أُمَّ عَطِيَّةَ، اخْفِضِي وَلَا تَنْهَكِي؛ فَإِنَّهُ أَسْرَى لِلْوَجْهِ، وَأَحْظَى عِنْدَ الزَّوْجِ ".
