  • Taḥāwī

machine translationSo the ḥadīth returned to being disconnected (munqaṭiʿ), as Mālik and Ibn ʿUyaynah narrated it from al-Zuhrī. And what ʿAbdullāh b. ʿĪsā and Ismāʿīl b. Umayyah narrated from al-Zuhrī, even though their standing is a great standing, must not be set against what was narrated by the authority (ḥujjah) on al-Zuhrī, where it differs from what those two narrated.
