( وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَافِظُ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ خُشَيْشٍ، ثَنَا سَلْمُ بْنُ جُنَادَةَ، ثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبْجَرَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ حُجَيَّةَ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ:
أَنَّ عَلِيًّا ؓ قَطَعَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ مِنَ الْمَفْصِلِ وَحَسَمَهَا، فَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى أَيْدِيهِمْ كَأَنَّهَا أُيُورُ الْحُمُرِ
