أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُقْرِي، أَنْبَأَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، ثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ، ثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ:
كَانَ صَفْوَانُ بْنُ أُمَيَّةَ رَجُلًا مِنَ الطُّلَقَاءِ، فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَأَنَاخَ رَاحِلَتَهُ، وَوَضَعَ رِدَاءَهُ عَلَيْهَا، ثُمَّ تَنَحَّى يَقْضِي الْحَاجَةَ، فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ فَسَرَقَ رِدَاءَهُ، فَأَخَذَهُ فَأَتَى بِهِ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَمَرَ بِهِ أَنْ يُقْطَعَ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، تَقْطَعُهُ فِي رِدَائِي ؟ أَنَا أَهَبُهُ لَهُ. فَقَالَ: " فَهَلَّا قَبْلَ أَنْ تَأْتِيَنِي بِهِ
