أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ الْعَدْلُ بِبَغْدَادَ، أَنْبَأَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثَنَا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، عَنْ عَوْفٍ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي رَجَاءٍ الْعُطَارِدِيِّ قَالَ:
كَانَ عُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ ؓ يُعَاقِبَانِ عَلَى الْهِجَاءِ
