( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْقَطَّانُ، ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ، ثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: بَلَغَنِي - أَوْ بَلَغَنَا - أَنَّ عُمَرَ ؓ قَالَ:
إِذَا حَضَرْتُمُونَا فَاسْأَلُوا فِي الْعَهْدِ جَهْدَكُمْ؛ فَإِنِّي أَنْ أُخْطِئَ فِي الْعَفْوِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أُخْطِئَ فِي الْعُقُوبَةِ
