أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ، ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَا: ثَنَا يَحْيَى: عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ قَالَ
جَاءَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أُبَيٍّ ابْنِ سَلُولَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ حَيْثُ مَاتَ أَبُوهُ، فَقَالَ: أَعْطِنِي قَمِيصَكَ حَتَّى أُكَفِّنَهُ فِيهِ، وَصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ، وَاسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُ، فَأَعْطَاهُ قَمِيصَهُ، وَقَالَ: إِذَا فَرَغْتُمْ فَآذِنُونِي. فَلَمَّا أَرَادَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ عَلَيْهِ جَاءَهُ عُمَرُ، وَقَالَ: أَلَيْسَ قَدْ نَهَاكَ اللهُ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى الْمُنَافِقِينَ. قَالَ: أَنَا بَيْنَ خِيَرَتَيْنِ قَالَ: اسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ أَوْ لا تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ قَالَ: فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ. قَالَ: فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ -: وَلا تُصَلِّ عَلَى أَحَدٍ مِنْهُمْ مَاتَ أَبَدًا وَلا تَقُمْ عَلَى قَبْرِهِ قَالَ: فَتَرَكَ الصَّلَاةَ عَلَيْهِمْ.
