فِي مَا أَجَازَ لِي ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ رِوَايَتَهُ عَنْهُ، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ، ثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ، أَنْبَأَ الشَّافِعِيُّ - وَأَظُنُّهُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ: عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ قَالَ:

دَخَلْتُ عَلَى مَرْوَانَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ فَقَالَ: مَا رَأَيْتُ أَحَدًا أَكْرَمَ غَلَبَةً مِنْ أَبِيكَ، مَا هُوَ إِلَّا أَنْ وَلَّيْنَا يَوْمَ الْجَمَلِ فَنَادَى مُنَادِيهِ: لَا يُقْتَلْ مُدْبِرٌ، وَلَا يُذَفَّفْ عَلَى جَرِيحٍ
