أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ: الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ، ( ح ) وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو الْأَدِيبُ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْإِسْمَاعِيلِيُّ، قَالَا: ثَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى، ثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ، ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ:

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بَعَثَ زَيْدًا وَجَعْفَرًا، وَعَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ رَوَاحَةَ، وَدَفَعَ الرَّايَةَ إِلَى زَيْدٍ، فَأُصِيبُوا جَمِيعًا. قَالَ أَنَسٌ: فَنَعَاهُمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى النَّاسِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَجِيءَ الْخَبَرُ. قَالَ: أَخَذَ الرَّايَةَ زَيْدٌ فَأُصِيبَ، ثُمَّ أَخَذَ جَعْفَرٌ فَأُصِيبَ، ثُمَّ أَخَذَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ رَوَاحَةَ فَأُصِيبَ، ثُمَّ أَخَذَ الرَّايَةَ بَعْدُ سَيْفٌ مِنْ سُيُوفِ اللهِ: خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ". قَالَ فَجَعَلَ يُحَدِّثُ النَّاسَ، وَعَيْنَاهُ تَذْرِفَانِ
