( وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الْمَعْرُوفِ الْفَقِيهُ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو عَمْرِو بْنُ نُجَيْدٍ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ. فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ:
ثُمَّ تَنَحَّيْتُ، فَقَالَ: يَا سَلَمَةُ أَلَا تُبَايِعُ. قُلْتُ: قَدْ بَايَعْتُ. قَالَ: " أَقْبِلْ فَبَايِعْ ". قَالَ: فَدَنَوْتُ فَبَايَعْتُهُ. قَالَ: قُلْتُ: عَلَامَ بَايَعْتَهُ يَا أَبَا مُسْلِمٍ ؟ قَالَ: عَلَى الْمَوْتِ
