وَعَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ هَرِمٍ قَالَ:
سُئِلَ جَابِرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنِ الْأَخِ مِنَ الْأُمِّ هَلْ يَرِثُ مِنَ الدِّيَةِ إِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ مِنْ أَبِيهِ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قَدْ وَرَّثَهُ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ وَشُرَيْحٌ، وَكَانَ عُمَرُ يَقُولُ: إِنَّمَا دِيَتُهُ بِمَنْزِلَةِ مِيرَاثِهِ
