( وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ عَبْدَانَ، أَنْبَأَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثَنَا ابْنُ رَجَاءٍ، ثَنَا حَرْبُ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، ثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ
أَنَّهُ عَامَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ قَتَلَتْ خُزَاعَةُ رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي لَيْثٍ بِقَتِيلٍ لَهُمْ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِنَحْوِهِ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: وَمَنْ قُتِلَ لَهُ قَتِيلٌ فَهُوَ بِخَيْرِ النَّظَرَيْنِ إِمَّا أَنْ يُودَى وَإِمَّا أَنْ يُقَادَ
