A girl went out wearing silver ornaments (awḍāḥ), and a Jew seized her, crushed her head with a stone, and took what she was wearing. She was brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while she still had a breath of life. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her: "Who killed you? So-and-so?" She signalled with her head: No. They said: "The Jew?" She signalled with her head: Yes. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had him seized, and his head was crushed between two stones.
