( وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، نَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ بْنِ شَرِيكٍ، نَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، نَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، نَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ؓ أَخْبَرَهُ:

أَنَّ رُبَيِّعَ بِنْتَ مُعَوِّذِ بْنِ عَفْرَاءَ اخْتَلَعَتْ مِنْ زَوْجِهَا عَلَى عَهْدِ عُثْمَانَ ؓ فَذَهَبَ عَمُّهَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ عَفْرَاءَ إِلَى عُثْمَانَ ؓ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ ابْنَةَ مُعَوِّذٍ قَدِ اخْتَلَعَتْ مِنْ زَوْجِهَا الْيَوْمَ أَفَتَنْتَقِلُ ؟ فَقَالَ عُثْمَانُ ؓ: تَنْتَقِلُ وَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهَا عِدَّةٌ إِنَّهَا لَا تَنْكِحُ حَتَّى تَحِيضَ حَيْضَةً وَاحِدَةً، فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: عُثْمَانُ أَكْبَرُنَا وَأَعْلَمُنَا
