( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ الرَّفَّاءُ، نَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بِشْرٍ، نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ الْقَاضِي، نَا ابْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ، نَا ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْفُقَهَاءِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ كَانُوا يَقُولُونَ:
عِدَّةُ أُمِّ الْوَلَدِ يُعْتِقُهَا سَيِّدُهَا أَوْ يُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا حَيْضَةٌ
