When a man swears an oath of ilāʾ against his wife and the four months pass, it is one divorce. He may propose to her during her waiting period, and no one else may propose to her. The waiting period is three menstrual cycles (qurūʾ).

Badhīmah, no one else has transmitted it with a connected chain (musnad) as far as I know, meaning no one else connects it. He said: And if this were established, and I were only making excuses by relying on his statement, would more than ten of the Companions of the Messenger of God ﷺ be more deserving to have their statement followed, or one or two?
