( أَخْبَرَنَا ) مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ: عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَخْتَوَيْهِ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ الْحَجَبِيُّ، ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، ثَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:
نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ: وَتُخْفِي فِي نَفْسِكَ مَا اللهُ مُبْدِيهِ فِي شَأْنِ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ، وَكَانَ جَاءَ زَيْدٌ يَشْكُو، وَهَمَّ بِطَلَاقِهَا، جَاءَ يَسْتَأْمِرُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فِي ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ - ﷺ: أَمْسِكْ عَلَيْكَ زَوْجَكَ وَاتَّقِ اللهَ وَتُخْفِي فِي نَفْسِكَ مَا اللهُ مُبْدِيهِ الْآيَةَ، قَالَ: فَلَمَّا قَضَى زَيْدٌ مِنْهَا وَطَرًا زَوَّجْنَاكَهَا لِكَيْ لا يَكُونَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَرَجٌ فِي أَزْوَاجِ أَدْعِيَائِهِمْ إِذَا قَضَوْا مِنْهُنَّ وَطَرًا
