( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ مَزْيَدٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ شُعَيْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ أَبِي النَّجُودِ؛ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُمْ عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ الْأَسَدِيِّ، قَالَ:
قَالَ لِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ: مَا الْحَفَدَةُ ؟ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: وَلَدُ الرَّجُلِ، قَالَ: لَا، وَلَكِنَّهُ الْأَخْتَانُ
