أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ، أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ دَرَسْتَوَيْهِ، ثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، ثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِي، ثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي الْوَلِيدِ؛ أَنَّ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ خَالِدٍ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ خَارِجَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ: أَنَّ نَفَرًا دَخَلُوا عَلَى أَبِيهِ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ - ؓ، فَقَالُوا: حَدِّثْنَا عَنْ بَعْضِ أَخْلَاقِ النَّبِيِّ - ﷺ، فَقَالَ:

كُنْتُ جَارَهُ، فَكَانَ إِذَا نَزَلَ الْوَحْيُ بَعَثَ إِلَيَّ فَآتِيهِ، فَأَكْتُبُ الْوَحْيَ، وَكُنَّا إِذَا ذَكَرْنَا الدُّنْيَا ذَكَرَهَا مَعَنَا، وَإِذَا ذَكَرْنَا الْآخِرَةَ ذَكَرَهَا مَعَنَا، وَإِذَا ذَكَرْنَا الطَّعَامَ ذَكَرَهُ مَعَنَا، أَوَكُلُّ هَذَا نُحَدِّثُكُمْ عَنْهُ.
