( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذَ، ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثَنَا فِطْرٌ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو ؓ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ - ﷺ:
إِنَّ الرَّحِمَ مُعَلَّقَةٌ بِالْعَرْشِ، وَلَيْسَ الْوَاصِلُ بِالْمُكَافِي، وَلَكِنِ الْوَاصِلُ الَّذِي إِذَا انْقَطَعَتْ رَحِمُهُ وَصَلَهَا

machine translationAl-Aʿmash is the best memorizer among them, and the hadith may possibly be raised (marfūʿ). I fear that this al-Aʿmash did not hear it from Mujāhid, for al-Aʿmash heard little from Mujāhid, and most of what he narrates from Mujāhid is concealed (mudallas).
