( فِيمَا أَجَازَ لِي ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ رِوَايَتَهُ عَنْهُ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ، قَالَ: ثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ، قَالَ: قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ - رَحِمَهُ اللهُ:
وَلِلْمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ فِي قَسْمِ الصَّدَقَاتِ سَهْمٌ، وَالَّذِي أَحْفَظُهُ فِيهِ مِنْ مُتَقَدِّمِ الْخَبَرِ: أَنَّ عَدِيَّ بْنَ حَاتِمٍ جَاءَ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ ؓ أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ: بِثَلَاثِمِائَةٍ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ مِنْ صَدَقَاتِ قَوْمِهِ، فَأَعْطَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ؓ مِنْهَا ثَلَاثِينَ بَعِيرًا، وَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَلْحَقَ بِخَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ بِمَنْ أَطَاعَهُ مِنْ قَوْمِهِ، فَجَاءَ بِزُهَاءِ أَلْفِ رَجُلٍ، وَأَبْلَى بَلَاءً حَسَنًا
