أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ، أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ مِغْوَلٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ قَالَ:

سُئِلَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: مَنْ أَوَّلُ مَنْ آمَنَ ؟ فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ؓ: أَمَا سَمِعْتَ قَوْلَ حَسَّانَ: إِذَا تَذَكَّرْتَ شَجْوًا مِنْ أَخِي ثِقَةٍ فَاذْكُرْ أَخَاكَ أَبَا بَكْرٍ بِمَا فَعَلَا خَيْرَ الْبَرِيَّةِ أَوْفَاهَا وَأَعْدَلَهَا بَعْدَ النَّبِيِّ وَأَوْلَاهَا بِمَا حَمَلَا وَالتَّالِيَ الثَّانِيَ الْمَحْمُودُ مَشْهَدُهُ وَأَوَّلَ النَّاسِ مِنْهُمْ صَدَّقَ الرُّسُلَا عَاشَ حَمِيدًا لِأَمْرِ اللهِ مُتَّبِعًا بِهَدْيِ صَاحِبِهِ الْمَاضِي وَمَا انْتَقَلَا
