( وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُقْرِي، أَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، ثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، ثَنَا خُثَيْمُ بْنُ عِرَاكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ نَفَرٍ مِنْ بَنِي غِفَارٍ قَالُوا:
إِنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَدِمَ الْمَدِينَةَ، وَقَدْ خَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِلَى خَيْبَرَ، وَاسْتَخْلَفَ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي غِفَارٍ، يُقَالُ لَهُ سِبَاعُ بْنُ عُرْفُطَةَ، قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: فَوَجَدْنَاهُ فِي صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ، فَلَمَّا فَرَغْنَا مِنْ صَلَاتِنَا، أَتَيْنَا سِبَاعَ بْنَ عُرْفُطَةَ، فَزَوَّدَنَا تَمْرًا، حَتَّى قَدِمْنَا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَقَدْ فَتَحَ خَيْبَرَ، وَكَلَّمَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ، فَأَشْرَكُونَا فِي سُهْمَانِهِمْ.
