أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، أَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ مِنْ كِتَابِهِ، أَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ السَّلْمَانِيِّ قَالَ:
كَانَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ يُعْطِي الْجَدَّ مَعَ الْإِخْوَةِ الثُّلُثَ، وَكَانَ عُمَرُ ؓ يُعْطِيهِ السُّدُسَ، وَكَتَبَ عُمَرُ إِلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ ؓ: إِنَّا نَخَافُ أَنْ نَكُونَ قَدْ أَجْحَفْنَا بِالْجَدِّ، فَأَعْطِهِ الثُّلُثَ، فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ هَاهُنَا، أَعْطَاهُ السُّدُسَ، فَقَالَ عَبِيدَةُ: فَرَأْيُهُمَا فِي الْجَمَاعَةِ، أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ رَأْيِ أَحَدِهِمَا فِي الْفُرْقَةِ
