( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو سَعِيدٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شُبَانَةَ الشَّاهِدُ بِهَمَذَانَ، أَنْبَأَ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَحْمُوَيْهِ النَّسَوِيُّ، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ السَّرَّاجُ، ثَنَا شَبَابُ بْنُ خَيَّاطٍ الْعُصْفُرِيُّ، ثَنَا حَشْرَجُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حَشْرَجٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ جَدِّي، عَنْ عَائِذِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو:

أَنَّهُ جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ مَعَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حَوْلَهُ أَصْحَابُهُ، فَقَالُوا: هَذَا أَبُو سُفْيَانَ، وَعَائِذُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ - ﷺ: هَذَا عَائِذُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، وَأَبُو سُفْيَانَ، الْإِسْلَامُ أَعَزُّ مِنْ ذَلِكَ، الْإِسْلَامُ يَعْلُو وَلَا يُعْلَى
