أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمُّ، أَنْبَأَ الرَّبِيعُ، أَنْبَأَ الشَّافِعِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، قَالَ:

حَضَرْتُ شُرَيْحًا قَضَى لِأَعْمَى بِالْعُمْرَى، فَقَالَ لَهُ الْأَعْمَى: يَا أَبَا أُمَيَّةَ، بِمَ قَضَيْتَ لِي ؟ فَقَالَ شُرَيْحٌ: لَسْتُ أَنَا قَضَيْتُ لَكَ، وَلَكِنَّ مُحَمَّدًا ﷺ قَضَى لَكَ مُنْذُ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً، قَالَ: مَنْ أُعْمِرَ شَيْئًا حَيَاتَهُ، فَهُوَ لِوَرَثَتِهِ إِذَا مَاتَ
