أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ، ثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، ثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ:
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ، فَأَقْبَلَ الْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ ؓ وَعَلَيْهِمَا قَمِيصَانِ أَحْمَرَانِ يَعْثُرَانِ وَيَقُومَانِ، فَلَمَّا رَآهُمَا نَزَلَ فَأَخَذَهُمَا ثُمَّ صَعِدَ فَوَضَعَهُمَا فِي حِجْرِهِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: صَدَقَ اللهُ: إِنَّمَا أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَأَوْلادُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ رَأَيْتُ هَذَيْنِ فَلَمْ أَصْبِرْ حَتَّى أَخَذْتُهُمَا
