( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، أَنْبَأَ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ: قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ: أَنْبَأَ ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ جَعْدَةَ، قَالَ:
لَمَّا قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْمَدِينَةَ أَقْطَعَ النَّاسَ الدُّورَ، فَقَالَ لَهُ حَيٌّ مِنْ بَنِي زُهْرَةَ يُقَالُ لَهُمْ بَنُو عَبْدِ بْنِ زُهْرَةَ: نَكِّبْ عَنَّا ابْنَ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ - ﷺ: فَلِمَ ابْتَعَثَنِي اللهُ إِذًا ؟ إِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَا يُقَدِّسُ أُمَّةً لَا يُؤْخَذُ لِلضَّعِيفِ فِيهِمْ حَقُّهُ
