أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَا: ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمُّ، أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ، أَنْبَأَ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: أَنَّهُ قَالَ:

جِئْتُ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ، فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: قَدْ قَدِمَتْ سِلْعَةٌ، فَهَلْ لَكَ أَنْ تُعْطِيَنِي مَالًا فَأَشْتَرِيَ بِذَلِكَ ؟ فَقَالَ: أَتَرَاكَ فَاعِلًا ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، وَلَكِنِّي رَجُلٌ مُكَاتِبٌ، فَأَشْتَرِيهَا عَلَى أَنَّ الرِّبْحَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكَ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، فَأَعْطَانِي مَالًا عَلَى ذَلِكَ
