( وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ قُرَيْشٍ، أَنْبَأَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، ثَنَا أَبِي، ثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِمِثْلِهِ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ:
وَعَرَضَنِي يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ وَأَنَا ابْنُ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً فَأَجَازَنِي،
