( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ، ثَنَا أَبُو الْجَوَّابِ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ نَضْلَةَ الْكِنَانِيِّ، قَالَ:
كَانَتْ بُيُوتُ مَكَّةَ تُدْعَى السَّوَائِبَ لَمْ تُبَعْ رِبَاعُهَا فِي زَمَنِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَلَا أَبِي بَكْرٍ، وَلَا عُمَرَ، مَنِ احْتَاجَ سَكَنَ، وَمَنِ اسْتَغْنَى أَسْكَنَ
