( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ، أَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ حَيَّانَ، ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ، ثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ، ثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُسْلِمٍ - قَالَ: وَأَخْبَرَنِي شَيْبَانُ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ النَّخَعِيَّ، فَقُلْتُ: انْكَسَرَتْ يَدِي وَعَلَيْهَا خِرْقَتُهَا وَعِيدَانُهَا وَجَبَائِرُهَا، فَرُبَّمَا أَصَابَتْنِي جَنَابَةٌ، فَقَالَ: امْسَحْ عَلَيْهَا بِالْمَاءِ، فَإِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى يَعْذِرُ بِالْمَعْذِرَةِ
