( أَنْبَأَنِي ) أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ، إِجَازَةً، أَنَّ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ الْعَسْكَرِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُمْ، ثَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ الْبَغَوِيُّ، ثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ:

أَتَى ابْنُ أَبِي حَمَامَةَ السُّلَمِيُّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَهُوَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي أَثْنَيْتُ عَلَى رَبِّي وَمَدَحْتُكَ، فَقَالَ: " أَمْسِكْ عَلَيْكَ " ثُمَّ قَامَ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَخَرَجَ بِهِ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ، فَقَالَ: مَا أَثْنَيْتَ بِهِ عَلَى رَبِّي فَهَاتِهِ، وَمَا مَدَحْتَنِي بِهِ فَدَعْهُ عَنْكَ فَأَنْشَدَ، حَتَّى إِذَا فَرَغَ دَعَا بِلَالًا فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يُعْطِيَهُ شَيْئًا، ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَى حَائِطِ الْمَسْجِدِ، فَمَسَحَ بِهِ وَجْهَهُ وَذِرَاعَيْهِ، ثُمَّ دَخَلَ
