in سنن البيهقي الكبرى, p. 1008 - Ibn Ḥajar al-ʿAsqalānī
الأحاديث الواردة في صفة التيمم لم يصح منها سوى حديث أبي جهيم
machine translationOf the hadiths reported on the manner of tayammum, none is authentic (ṣaḥīḥ) except the hadith of Abū Juhaym.
in سنن البيهقي الكبرى, p. 1008 - Ibn Ḥajar al-ʿAsqalānī
الأحاديث الواردة في صفة التيمم لم يصح منها سوى حديث أبي جهيم وعمار وما عداهما فضعيف أو مختلف في رفعه ووقفه والراجح عدم رفعه
machine translationOf the narrations that describe the manner of tayammum, none is authentic (ṣaḥīḥ) except the hadith of Abū Juhaym and that of ʿAmmār. Everything other than these two is either weak (ḍaʿīf) or disputed as to whether it is raised (marfūʿ) or stopped (mawqūf), and the preponderant view is that it is not raised.
