In their own words, as Hadith Unlocked records them. They are shown, not summarised into a grade.

machine translationI do not know of any established hadith on 'whoever washes a deceased person, let him bathe'; and had it been established, we would be obliged to act on it.
in مسند أحمد, p. 9948 - Abū Zakariyyā Yaḥyá b. Sharaf al-Nawawī
machine translationIt is reported that the majority declared this hadith weak (ḍaʿīf), and al-Tirmidhī was criticised for grading it good (ḥasan).
machine translationThe upshot is that its attribution to the Prophet (marfūʿ) is weak, and its being a statement of the Companion (mawqūf) is sound (ṣaḥīḥ).

machine translationIbn Abī Dhiʾb narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Ḥabbān b. ʿAlī narrated it from Ibn Abī Dhiʾb from al-Maqburī from Abū Hurayrah. Yaḥyā al-Qaṭṭān, Yaḥyā b. Ayyūb, al-Darāwardī, Ḥajjāj b. Muḥammad, ʿAbd al-Ṣamad b. al-Nuʿmān and Ibn Abī Fudayk differed from him: they narrated it from Ibn Abī Dhiʾb from Ṣāliḥ, the freedman of al-Tawʾamah, from Abū Hurayrah. Ibn Abī Fudayk gave an anomalous (gharīb) report of it with two other chains: one from Ibn Abī Dhiʾb from Suhayl b. Abī Ṣāliḥ from his father from Abū Hurayrah, and the other from Ibn Abī Dhiʾb from al-Qāsim b. ʿAbbās from ʿAmr b. ʿUmayr from Abū Hurayrah. The hadith of al-Maqburī is more sound (aṣaḥḥ).
